Arne Jacobsen wall lamp

The AJ lamp was designed, among other lightings, in 1957 by Arne Jacobsen for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhague.

Arne Jacobsen was very productive both as an architect and as a designer. The Ant and Series 7 chairs, produced in 1952, are very famous. At the end of the 50's, Arne Jacobsen designed the SAS Royal Hotel in Copnhague, which introduced the lamp here dispayed but also the Egg, the Swan sofa and Series 3300 to the design world.

Radisson SAS Royal Hotel Copenhague - Intérieur de l’hôtel - Room 606 is the only hotel room with the original Arne Jacobsen decor from July 1960 when the hotel first opened its doors. With the grey, blue-green colours, the wenge wood and a selection of the most representative furniture designed for the hotel, this room takes its visitors to another time and place. Room 606 functions as a regular guestroom and is a must for Arne Jacobsen fans and design lovers. 606 offers state-of-the-art Bang & Olufsen TV and Royal Club amenities.

Radisson SAS Royal Hotel Copenhague - Vestibule - The 5-star Radisson SAS Royal Hotel owes its great looks to Danish architect Arne Jacobsen,
who designed the building and a large part of the interior decoration. Cause of wonder since
1960, the hotel not only passes, but excels in the test of time.
